This half day course is suitable for those wishing to support workplace Mental Health First Aider/s or MHFA Champions in larger organisations or, in smaller workplaces, successful delegates of this course maybe the only trained support.
The course will help you gain an understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge stigma. They will take away the basic knowledge of some of the common mental health issues. This course provides an introduction for delegates to look after their own mental health and wellbeing. And finally, it provides the confidence necessary for successful candidates to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue.

It is suitable for those who want to gain the necessary skills to have a non-judgmental conversation, recognise the signs and symptoms of common workplace mental health issues and effectively guide a person towards the right support.
Certification / Qualification:
Upon completion of the course, you will keep the MHFA manual to refer to when need, and Mental Health First Aid England certificate to say you are a Mental Health First Aider.

The course is typically a half day course, this can be run on either morning, afternoon or evening to suit you and your companies requirements.
