Our Christmas appeal this year has once again been fantastic, and we are incredibly grateful for the support we have received. Each year we are blown away by the generosity shown, and this year has been no different. We always aim to match or exceed our efforts from the previous year, and after donating 400 presents last year, we are proud to say that this year we have been able to donate over 500 presents.
We take great pride in knowing that we have helped ensure many children receive gifts this Christmas. Many families can enjoy the festive season knowing they have presents for their loved ones, helping to ease some of the stress and strain that comes with the current climate and the challenging times people are facing.
We would like to thank each and every person who has donated to our appeal. Special thanks go to Richy Aldred and the staff at Elevon Europe; WATBike for their generous donation of 20 bikes; Bobby Johnson at Spirit Sport Equipment; and Scott Douglas. A heartfelt thank you also goes to Blyth Town FC for the support from across the club, including the first team and junior teams. We would also like to thank Smyths Toys Superstores in Wallsend for once again allowing us to add further presents to our appeal this year.
Our appeal has enabled us to donate over 500 presents. This helps ensure that no child goes without a present this Christmas in the North East. To see how the admin is managed as well as seeing the logistics in ensuring all presents are delivered in time for Christmas really does make our appeal worthwhile.
We are incredibly fortunate to be able to run these appeals. They would not be possible without the generosity and donations of so many people. This includes everyone who has donated a present, contributed to our fundraising appeal, or liked, shared, and commented on our posts. We would like to sincerely thank each and every person who has been involved and helped make this possible.
