Time is running out… For my first 10k

I’m not entirely sure how this has come about so quickly but in less than two weeks I will be running (and no doubt walking parts of) the Great North 10k as I build up to doing the Great North Run in September. It only seems like yesterday since I entered and whilst training hasn’t really existed in the last eight weeks for a number of reasons I’ll still give it my all.
I haven’t ran much as I’ve allowed the nice weather, golf, a couple of long walks (in previous blogs) and a sore toe (I sound like David Haye) since take over but that won’t stop me. Roll on yet another challenge.
What better way to do these runs that also take the chance to raise fund which gives and adds more motivation to making this happen. If you would like to sponsor me then please do so >>HERE<<< (opens in a new tab)">>>HERE<<<. All funds go to Mind which is something close to my heart.
Alarm set early tomorrow and I’m heading out to do 5k.
Tell me I can’t do something and watch me go 🙂
Stay tuned for my slow progress :-).
